Welcome to Boulcott School

Stand tall, fly high, together.

Kia tū kaha, kia maia, kia rere ki te ao.

Principal's Welcome

At Boulcott School our community live by our vision of Stand tall, Fly high, Together. Kia tū Kaha, Kia Maia, Kia rere ki te ao.

Boulcott School is a medium size primary school catering for between 300 – 370 children in Years 1 to 6. It is just a few minutes from the heart of Lower Hutt City. We are a highly regarded school with excellent educational results, and students who are eager to learn. We have exceptional and committed staff, and there is a strong sense of connection between the school and community. Our tamariki and their whānau have warm relationships with the teachers and support staff and it is a noticeably friendly, caring and supportive environment in which to learn.

Boulcott School has a fabulous staff who are very experienced and passionate practitioners. Our tamariki are at the centre of all decision making.

Inclusion at Boulcott School means success for all. Providing an optimum environment with opportunities for every student to flourish in all areas of life is our goal.

We have a history of strong parental involvement in our Kura. We have a hard-working Home and School Team and a Whānau Rōpu was established to create relationships within the community, especially with Māori families, and to celebrate Te Reo (Māori Language) and Te Ao Māori (Māori World) at Boulcott School.

We welcome everyone interested in joining our school community to come down and have a chat.
