Badminton Term 1 2026

 

Badminton Year 5 & 6

Registrations are now open and close on Monday, 2 February

 

This competition is a great way for students to enjoy using their badminton skills to play against other students of similar age and have fun while doing so. They will play in teams of 2 (boys/girls or mixed). 

 

Where: Naenae Badminton Hall

When: Tuesday afternoons from 4:00pm – 6:30pm starting on Tuesday, 10 February and will run for 7 weeks. A draw will be sent out giving you a start time.

Teams: Teams can consist of either 2 or 3 players. With 2 in a team, each player will play both a singles and a doubles game. With 3 in a team, players will decide amongst themselves, who plays each singles and doubles game fairly each week.

Cost: $35 per player

Please arrange payments from 2026 and before Friday, 13 February.

Students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the games each week and wear a Boulcott School sports shirt for the games. Racquets and shuttles will be available to use.

 

With this event it is generally run and umpired by the students and we ask that parents remain in the seated area to support the teams.

 

Please complete the google form to register your child and also indicate if you have someone who you would like to partner up with and your experience level with badminton. Only students who complete the google form will be registered to play.
