Community Sports Events

Here you will be able to find a range of community sporting events that your child/ren can participate in. 

Please note: these are not organised or run by Boulcott School, and you will need to sign you child up using the appropriate links.

 

XRACE

  • Sunday 3rd March.

XRACE is an exciting parent-and-child adventure race where one parent and one or two children aged between 6 and 14 must work together to locate and complete 10 mystery challenges, racing against the clock and other family teams. There is also a Nippers race for the Under 6’s.

 

More than just a race, XRACE is an immersive family adventure designed to create lasting memories and strengthen bonds between parents and children. It’s a screen-free experience, apart from the obligatory paparazzi photos.

 

Teams can choose their own pace, whether it’s a flat-out sprint from the start or a leisurely walk.

Weetbix Tryathlon

 

Sunday 17th March at Kilbirnie Park

Event: Aged 6 – 15 year olds

Event Options:

  • Splash & Dash 6 years
  • Individual TRYathlon 7 – 15 years
  • Junior Team 7 – 10 years
  • Senior Team 11- 15 years

Both team members must meet age requirements. Teams can be mixed gender (i.e) boy/girl. One team member completes the swim, one team member completes the cycle and both complete the run.

Yeah Girls Cricket

Cricket Wellington would like to offer your girls aged 10 + the opportunity to learn cricket skills through the Yeah! Girls cricket program.    This 6 week free program aims to develop skills in an action-packed environment, with an emphasis on having fun with friends and being active. The program starts February 16 at Petone Recreation Ground, 4-5pm.

Registration

Registration via www.yeahgirls.nz  is necessary to confirm a student’s place.  Girls are welcome to bring friends along, freebies for all those who register.

 

Tough Guy and Gal Challenge

This is a chance for primary and intermediate aged kids to get involved in New Zealand’s biggest mud run series in a version tailored especially for them! The Junior Tough Guys and Gals will take on  a 1.5km or 3km muddy obstacle course consisting of a swamp crossing a spiders web net climb, crawling under obstacles, beautiful native bush trails, tunnels, hurdles, a climbing frame, water crossings and not to mention mud, mud and more mud1


1.5 km course for Year 3 – 4

3km course for Year 5 – 8
