Boulcott School will be entering teams into the FutureFerns programme as run by Hutt Valley Netball. The FutureFerns programme aims to provide a fun and safe environment, whilst maximising opportunities to participate. The FutureFerns programme also offers a free workshop before the start of the season for the Adult Helper/s of each team. 

All games will be held for Years 1&2 and Years 3&4 on Saturday mornings from 9am at Taita Netball Courts. The Term 4 season is for 6 weeks and starts. We are still waiting on the dates for the season to be confirmed.

It is important to remember that if you register your child as part of a team they need to be committed for all 6 weeks in Term 4. It is expected that your child will attend any training sessions organised by your team’s adult helper and turn up to all games.

Adult Helpers:

Each team is required to have an adult helper, please indicate this on the form below. Netball Hutt Valley often run workshops for adult helpers to help with ideas and support. These are held at Taita Courts. No prior experience is required to be an adult helper. More information for this will be sent out to those parents who have offered their support.

Uniforms

Year 1 – 2 students will need to wear blue shorts or tights. We will attempt to get skirts for the Year 3 & 4 teams, however we are short on small sizes, otherwise they will need to wear blue shorts or tights as well. Each team will be provided with bibs and balls. Your child will also need to wear sneakers and their Boulcott School sports top.

If your child does not have a sports top, you will need to order this from the school office ($47.00). 

Please note: jewellery is not allowed to be worn during games, therefore earrings need to be removable and nails need to be short.

Costs and Payments:

The cost for netball will be invoiced by the school and will be required to be paid prior to the first round of games. This can be paid by sending money to the office in a named envelope or via online banking 12-3142-0062729-00 – reference your child’s surname and Netball

Sporty Form

This year we are using the sporty form to register for Netball. This form registers your child directly with Netball Hutt Valley and Boulcott School providing the necessary information that we require.
